 The
World Health Organization defines mental health as "a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to his or her community".

Mental health covers a wide range of areas of which the management of major mental illnesses is just one. Major mental illnesses are no longer considered just variations of ‘normality’ or ‘defects in one’s personality’.  A number of phenomena considered ‘deviant’ such as alcoholism and drug addiction, from originally being viewed more as moral and legal  problems are now being viewed as medical disorders with a strong neurobiological etiology.

Mental health issues when not addressed and managed in an appropriate and timely manner can lead to disturbances in ones personal, social and occupation life. We are here to provide you with a basic understanding of your psychological /psychiatric problem while exploring the treatment options available in a collaborative manner.
